- Give your Blog a simple topic. Keeping it simple and broad will make it a lot easier for you to get a variety of fresh and creative content for your blog. If it is very specific, then that can make it difficult to find something creative as it's easily said... You've written all that you can on that topic already!
- Research! Google provides one of the easiest tools to find information about anything under the sun you want to know about. If you are having trouble finding some sort of creative idea, do a google search on your blog topic and you can be inspired so to speak from a multitude of related articles and sites. This is an incredible way to get some inspiration or find creatively new concepts for your topics.
- The News! Watching Television or reading the newspaper is an awesome resource for ideas. The daily news on T.V. or in your newspaper can provide you with an abundance of creative ideas. Simply grab some content for your topics that relate to the daily world events. This is a great way to generate creative ideas for your blog.
One tip that several bloggers use to come up with fresh and creative concepts is to thumb through magazines and articles or newspapers and cut out clippings on topics that catch their eye.
Keep all those clippings from your ideas in a folder, and when you need a fresh, creative idea, simply grab a newspaper clipping or magazine article that you cut out from your handy folder. Walla... instant idea! These articles are not gonig to be copied but rather used as a means of inspiration or creative idea. Current events serves as a fantastic method to drum up some ideas to.
The best part about newspaper clippings and article cut outs from magazines is that when you are facing a bit of a writers block, you whip out one of those cut outs from your folder, and you've got several things going for you at once.
First off, you have an instant title, or at least an interesting idea and concept for one based on the clipping. Second, there is plenty of content for your blog that you can play around with and mix up from the cut out. It gives you research and information that you can expand on.
Here is an example:
If the article was about the mistakes men make in bed, you can make it into a creative bonus of ways to exicte your partner instead.
Research the topic and find some ideas for how you can spin this. You could simply just write about the reasons you make the same mistakes or how you avoid making them. The possibilities are endless with this method of creatively thinking of ways to add to a topic.
In today's society, your readers like to indentify with personality and some sort of author bonding where they are given smackerels of information about who you are. Making it a little more personal about yourself is a sure way to keep it creative and give you some great ideas to write about. I'm sure you've got lots to share about you as we all do.
It's often said that our most favorite subject is ourselves. Right?
The ideas you can generate from creatively thinking in this fashion is an endless trick that can produce an abundance of ideas. Break out a pen and notepad to write down any idea you think is decent enough to write about. Continue repeating all of these steps until you find that you have to generate some creative ideas and concepts, then blog away.
